I am building a site without lots of content it is just going to be an e-store selling widgets, do I need to do Keyword Research?

Do you want to get lots of Search Engine traffic?
If not, then don’t worry about keyword research.
If you want to get search engine traffic to your e-commerce site then you should do keyword research and you should add informational pages, either through articles that give information on your products or a related topic and/or through a blog.
While you could get some good search engine traffic to an ecommerce site without writing a lot of content, you will still need to do keyword research and you will need to get a lot of links to the site (something we will discuss more later).
